World Series of Poker

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a world-renowned series of poker tournaments held annually in Las Vegas since 1970.

The winner of the World Series of Poker Main Event is considered to be the World Champion of Poker and is awarded a multi-million dollar prize and a WSOP winner's bracelet which has become the most coveted award a poker player can win. In 2010, the Main Event winner won $8,944,138.

The Main Event is broadcasted around the World to millions of viewers and over 600 credentialed media attend annually. The key message of the World Series of Poker today is "Anybody Can Play, Anybody Can Win" and thus it enjoys participation from celebrities, poker champions and even amateurs.
